Surrealism evokes the unconscious mind, or dreams. It challenges logic and reality in order to present a higher or inner truth or idea.

On Saturday, June 12, join us in exploring Surrealism with a summer group show at Safelight Labs.

Beginning 6/9, we are accepting submissions for inclusion in this show, which will feature 25 artists, with images/prints up to 11x14 (including frame). Any photo-based medium is acceptable, including photographs, alternative printing, and collage. Submissions will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Participation and Submission requirements:

• Send us your image and info about how it fits within the theme. You can email this to info@safelightlabs.com.

• Images must be acceptable for a PG-13 audience.

• Artists should be able to drop their print off for hanging on 7/10 - 7/11 and present at the show on 7/12.
